A lot has happened since the founding of QMH in 2011. The number of employees has increased, we have become a limited liability company, moved once, increased our office space several times, and founded our subsidiary QMH Academy & Services. But we have always worked just outside Hamburg and fly all over the world for our customers.

Thorsten Höppner
Founder and partner

Hamburger to the core. Born in Hamburg, studied in Hamburg, industrial experience in Hamburg, founded (just outside) of the gates of Hamburg. First project manager of air suspension W211 at Vibracoustic Hamburg (1998-2001), followed by 12 years at Daimler AG as a process engineer, quality engineer, project manager for development and product manager. A serious employment record. Owner of QMH Consulting GmbH since 2010.

Understands methods, process and system competencies from the customer point-of-view and from the bottom up. Certified auditor, SPICE assessor. Happy to be consulting for his own company. For lean production, auditing, core tools and project management.

QMH is his baby. As well as this, he has 3 daughters and enjoys visiting Café Gloria.

Günter Nuss

Presentation of expertise: Automotive, graduate degree, audits. FMEA moderator and expert, spice assessor and process auditor VDA 6.3.

Provides consultancy as a QM and process specialist for manufacturing companies in automobile, machine and process technology. A specialist for system and process operations. Can implement management systems, supplier development and Q methods. A specialist in product safety and risk management And...wants to share his knowledge and progress customers.

Achim Sokat
Senior Consultant

Aboard at QMH as a trainer, consultant and auditor. Quality man to the core. Adept in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ASPICE, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, Functional Safety and Core Tools. Our team member from Ruhr area and expert in electrical engineering – but not only this.

Master of Engineering in electrical engineering with many years of experience as a Quality Leader in several companies in the automotive supply chain. Comes originally from paper industries as a trained power electronics technician. Extremely widespread skills by competencies in most different manufacturing technologies.

Real team player. Solution and factual oriented. Does lots of sports, preferably outdoors. Brings his honorary capacities to life with heart and soul.

Robert Klein
Senior Consultant

Trained journalist, has written about technology with excellent terms for (almost) his whole life. He now applies it himself. Certified technical editor at tekom. Has worked for QMH as an auditor, consultant and project manager since 2014. Conducts supplier audits and potential analyses pursuant to VDA 6.3. Audits, consults and conducts gap analyses pursuant to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. Knows the IATF 16949 by heart. Is responsible for the training product management. Translates specialist texts into English and keeps an eye on company texts. Prepares training programmes for 1st tier customers and conducts training based on ISO 9001:2015.

First steps to his dream job: Began working as a technical editor. Industrial focus: 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers. Now happy as a consultant. A joy for QMH.

Also proficient in IT. But is not a nerd. Enjoys (private) travel and dabbling in local politics.

Jouni Kivimäki

Our Finnish Consultant. Has studied Environmental Engineering in Vaasa and Hamburg. Experience as Quality Manager and Project Engineer. Speaks, of course, Finnish and also English and German. Works on all kind of ISO 9001 topics as well as FMEAs, documentation, presentations and training sheets. With his typical Finnish serenity and dry sense of humor, he works unflashy but very efficient.

He keeps fit by long-distance bicycle commuting and he loves kitesurfing.

Dr. Tobias Montag:

After training as an automotive mechatronics engineer, studying automotive engineering and gaining a doctorate in production engineering, where he conducted basic research for a new type of hot pressing process, Tobias Montag has been supporting our team since the end of 2020. He has been successfully applying risk management methods for years, above all FMEAs. As a Six Sigma Green Belt, he is also well versed in agile working methods.

Born in Stralsund, Tobias Montag is married and has a son. In addition to his involvement with QMH, he also holds two teaching positions for micro-manufacturing technology and materials science. Fun fact: at school he took the first advanced course in computer science in the former GDR. He is an active Christian and also politically active.

Philip von dem Bussche

As a master's student in quality engineering, safety engineer and occupational safety specialist, Philip von dem Bussche is our expert for the interface between quality management and product safety. Starting out as an officer in the German Armed Forces, he later worked as a trainer and speaker in the automotive industry. His tools of the trade, which he brings to QMH, include Six Sigma, supplier audits, assessor as total quality management assessments and the classic automotive core tools.

As a native of Hamburg, Philip von dem Bussche was at home in the Bergisches Land region for many years and has now returned to his homeland since 2021. In his private life, he is at home in motor sports and the restoration of old and youngtimers and prefers to spend his time in the mountains in winter.

Petra Memminger:
Team assistant

The qualified specialist for office and project organisation - including her qualification as a trainer - supports QMH Consulting as a team assistant. Thanks to her decades of experience as a management assistant, she keeps the consultants' backs free and ensures that the "gears keep turning".

On the side, Petra Memminger offers systemic coaching (psychological counselling), has two daughters and three cats and loves to ride her bike. She is also very close to nature and enjoys reading.

Janett Delapierre
Executive Assistant

As assistant to the management, Janett Delapierre is the interface between the management and the team, does the controlling and accompanies projects. After completing her bachelor's degree in International Marketing at the University of Lincoln in England, she initially worked as a project manager for a full-service provider in the telecommunications industry. Now that her children are out of the woods, she supports QMH part-time. In addition to her mother tongue German, Janett Delapierre also speaks English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish and French, the latter also through her husband.

Janett Delapierre is married and has two, according to her, wonderful little daughters. When you can't find her with her daughters on playgrounds, she likes to go jogging and otherwise tries to keep fit.

Executive assistant with passion. Skilled men's clothier and management assistant in office communication. Speaks German, English and a bit Spanish. Keeps always calm and track, or in a nutshell, she's the factotum for the colleagues.

André Vidal:
Head of sales

André Vidal is our commercial import from the Lüneburg Heath - born, raised and still living in Soltau. After studying business administration in Hamburg, he worked successfully in the medical products industry for 13 years. At QMH Group, he is responsible for ensuring that the commercial and sales processes function efficiently and that everyone benefits from them.

André Vidal is happily married, the proud father of two children and a great fan of the round leather.

Marián Hartz
Design / Marketing

Marián Hartz completed his bachelor's degree in media informatics and his master's degree in intermedia and marketing at Flensburg University. During his studies, he focused on interface and interaction design, digital image editing, video editing and web design. His final theses revolved around the topic of social media marketing strategy and the development of a categorisation of social media marketing metrics.

His tasks at QMH are very complex. He takes care of updating our websites, creating web-based trainings, further developing the CI and producing image and training videos - otherwise everything that has to do with design.

In his free time, he likes to hike and discover the world. To keep these discoveries alive, he likes to photograph the landscapes he sees.

Finn Thore Beck
Dual student

After completing his technical college entrance qualification, Finn-Thore Beck is now completing a dual study programme at the IU - International University - in Hamburg, where he will earn a Bachelor of Arts in Business Information Systems with a specialisation in Software Engineering within 7 semesters. As a dual student, he supports QMH when he is not studying. He takes care of administrative IT tasks as well as software testing and provides technical training for new QMH team members.

In his free time, he likes to be outdoors, whether in nature, during sporting activities or simply to switch off from everyday life.

Tim Wedel
Operations Manager Qualitäts-Masken Hamburg

As Operations Manager of our FFP mask production, Tim Wedel is the guarantor for the well-being of our sister company, QMH Qualitäts-Masken Hamburg GmbH. Before joining the QMH Group, Tim Wedel worked for a Norwegian company as a supply chain manager and then started with us in the same position before becoming our operations manager.

In his spare time, Tim Wedel enjoys sports and cooking.

Marwan Al-Jabiri

Our quality management representative (QMB) and project engineer for mask production ensures that everything runs like clockwork and the quality is right. Thanks to his studies in medical technology at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg/Weiden and his subsequent professional experience in the automation industry, Marwan Al-Jabiri is responsible for quality assurance in mask production in addition to quality management.

In his free time, Marwan Al-Jabiri enjoys sports and also attaches great importance to the further development of his personal skills.
